Our Mission:
NOVA CRC inspires creativity and environmental stewardship by
rescuing reusable materials from the waste stream,
making affordable art and creative supplies accessible to everyone,
and strengthening the arts through education, collaboration, and the power of creative reuse.
Our Center
NOVA Creative Reuse Center existed as a donation and retail space dedicated to all things Arts & Crafts from March 2019 until March 2021, in Paeonian Springs, VA.
In March 2023 we re-opened in a new location, downtown Leesburg!

In our retail center you will find gently used or pre-loved materials such as fabrics, art supplies, kids activity kits, jewelry makings, sewing notions, and so much more!
In an effort to provide affordable materials to our creative community, most of our merchandise is priced around half off the original retail value. All proceeds go directly towards supporting our mission.
Our Roots
NOVA Creative Reuse Center, Inc. was Founded in 2018 by our Director Jess Griffin, a Maryland native who transplanted to Virginia in 2012.
Executive Director
In November of 2024, Jess stepped back and invited Leah Cooper to take on the leadership of NOVA CRC as Executive Director. Leah has broad experience in program management, development, and fundraising. She also has a background in millinery and hair styling and is interested in all things crafty. She is an avid supporter of reuse, the creative arts, community building, and environmental sustainability. She maintains that buying supplies, organizing supplies, and creating with supplies are three distinct hobbies and that all have value. She lives in downtown Leesburg with her awesome family and can often be seen walking or biking to the shop.
Retail Manager
Charlotte Hooper Ceier first came to NOVA CRC in 2025 as a volunteer and was so amazing, we hired her! Charlotte has retail, non-profit management, grant writing, and executive leadership experience and has a background in professional organizing. She is very patient with the wake of mess Leah tends to leave, has a passion for scrapbooking, and has never met a stranger.
