An altered book is an existing, printed book that has been upcycled into a work of visual art. In this class we’ll take paper, fabric, stamps, paints, ephemera-anything you’d like- and use it to transform a book into a beautiful, personal object. We’ll have all the supplies, including books, but you are welcome to bring your own.* Similar classes have sold out, so we recommend grabbing tickets as soon as you can!

*We know it can be painful to think of “defacing” a book. However, these books are not museum or collection quality; if we weren’t upcycling them, they’d be destined for the landfill/recycling facility.
